Daily Diary Mainly cloudy day, dry start with a few brighter breaks but cloud quickly thickened to produce some light rain and drizzly showers during the afternoon. Rain turned heavier and more persistent into the evening as an occlusion arrived from the south-west. Northerly winds fell light and variable for a time within a col, before southerlies becoming south-westerlies strengthened during the evening and overnight.
