Overnight rain cleared E (becoming slow moving over the far SE where 40-60, loc 70mm was recorded) to a fine day with plenty of sunshine, although with also a few heavy showers of rain and occasionally small hail mixed in. These persisted through the evening as an area of low pressure sank SE across the area, before clearing in the small hours. Temperatures a little above the seasonal average, winds mainly light and variable.
