The cold spell fully broke down through night, with temperatures rising through the 24 hour period as an Atlantic warm sector with a very mild Tm air mass arrived. Strong SE becoming SSW'ly winds, and overcast with rain for much of the day. Very mild, and a complete contrast to the previous 7-10 days.
