Initially very mild in association with an Atlantic warm sector, which brought some light rain at times, but also, with weak ridging and the fronts well to the north, some brighter breaks too, especially during the afternoon. A sharp, active cold front arrived late in the evening (around 2300), accompanied by a sharp temp drop, wind veer and heavy rain. Clear spells followed overnight. Moderate SW'ly winds, strengthening ahead of front, becoming moderate W'ly.
