Clear overnight, with a sharp frost, and some freezing fog which cleared more quickly than the previous day as a SW'ly breeze picked up during the morning. Fine with plenty of sunshine, but cloud slowly increased overnight as a weakening cold front, which provided very strong winds across the N of the UK, arrived from the NW.
