Daily Diary Persistent rain overnight associated with a frontal system shearing across the area, pivoting away SE'wards by the early morning. This left a cloudy but mainly dry start, cloud gradually breaking up and turning more unstable during the morning to leave a day of some sunny spells but also plenty of cloud.
