Daily Diary

Very deep low for the time of year passed S of Iceland, with persistent rain affecting NW UK. Weakly ridged pattern here in the warm sector however, allowed an increasingly humid, but dry day with some sunny spells. Moderate to fresh SW'ly winds, temperatures below average by day, but well above average overnight. Rain associated with the fairly weak cold front came through overnight, into the morning of the 22nd.
