First properly wet day of the month. A frontal wave depression rippled across the UK, bringing significant snow to parts of the Midlands and northern England/Wales, and persistent rain here. It turned windy/showery for a time here post cold front, but the true air mass change (back to Pm) was behind the main occlusion which arrived early the following morning. Temperatures around average by day, and very mild overnight.
