Daily Diary A day of sunny spells and the odd shower; cloud cover generally increased through the afternoon. Drizzly showers became more frequent through the late afternoon. Cloud cover thickened from the W during the evening, as more persistent rain and strengthening winds associated with Storm Francis arrived overnight.
