Daily Diary

Persistent rain overnight and during the first part of the morning, before turning generally light and patchy for the rest of the day post cold front (arrived around 10:20). Cloud gradually lifted into medium and high level cloud as the back edge of the rearward sloping cold front approached, just in time to see a glimpse of sunshine before sundown. A few showers followed, but mainly clear spells, with a cold night following. Mild, with a fresh southerly wind becoming a light to moderate south-westerly.
