Daily Diary

A cold day (following overnight frost) with good spells of sunshine, but also heavy showers. Heaviest showers passed to the west, although one shower brought hail and snow across the north of Cullompton, causing problems on the M5 between Cullompton and Tiverton (see timelapse North at around 15:00). An occlusion and upper vortex rolled to the south during the evening, leaving clearing skies, light winds and a very cold night.
