Daily Diary Cold, dry moderate to strong north-easterly polar continental flow. Good sunny spells through the day, periods of thicker, more extensive cloud arrived from the north too. Snow showers continued to pile in to eastern parts of the UK, with a few very light flurries of snow grains made it this far west during the afternoon and early evening.
