Daily Diary Some rain overnight associated with increasingly weak frontal systems, and a cold air ridge building in behind. Frontal cloud layers soon cleared during the morning, leaving a fine day with sunny spells, although some largish Cu did develop for a time during the afternoon. This melted away into the evening to leave a clear and eventually cold night with an air frost early next morning. Mild, despite the cold air ridge, with a WNW wind.
