Daily Diary

Frequent heavy showers and rain overnight associated with a fast moving, semi-convective/semi-baroclinic frontal system. A bright and breezy day with occasional heavy showers. Showers a mix of rain and small hail (<5mm) in the heaviest ones, but these tended to blow through very quickly. Rather cold, and feeling very cold in the wind. Wind strengthened temporarily during the evening as a trough moved through.
