Daily Diary

A mainly cloudy day with just a few glimpses of sunshine during the morning, and a passing very light shower. Very cold or the time of year, given the cold air mass and little insolation to warm it. Light NW'ly wind. Temperatures fell rapidly during the evening in association with a cloud break, but didn't quite make it to freezing before further cloud followed by gradual warm advection allowed to temperatures to slowly rise through the rest of the night.
