A rather showery day across the UK with a cold Am airflow. Despite this, locally conditions stayed dry, with sunny spells. Layer cloud associated with the weak, slow moving fronts to the south gradually gave way to increasingly large Cu, although not big enough for showers. Moderate N'ly winds with temperatures a little below the average for the time of year.
