The remarkable settled spell continues, with High Pressure firmly in control. A warm day with virtually unbroken sunshine from dawn until dusk, although the sun was made hazy by high cloud in the west towards the end of the day. A moderate E to SE'ly wind, which was quite strong around the coast and to the west of high ground once again (gusts over 50mph reported in Cornwall).
