Daily Diary

A cold, clear start with an air frost, but temperatures soon warmed up with sunny spells and some fair weather cloud. High cloud gradually thickened from the SW through the afternoon and early evening, as a very deep depression arrived from the Atlantic, bringing some heavy and persistent rainfall overnight, along with strengthening winds. Light to moderate S'ly winds during the day, temperatures a little below the seasonal average once again.
