Very unsettled as a very deep (for the time of year) Atlantic depression swept in from the SW. Persistent, and sometimes heavy rain overnight cleared by daybreak, leaving a muggy, overcast, and sometimes drizzly day. Some very weak sunshine at times through thick altostratus. Cold front arrived late in the evening to bring a further spell of rain overnight. Windy, with temperatures a little below normal although much more humid that recently.
