Daily Diary A very wet day, continuing from the previous night, with low pressure close by to the south and a band of persistent rain wrapped around it feeding across the area. The rain very slowly edged westwards during the afternoon, clearing for a time with the odd cloud break, before slowly edging back east again as a much weaker feature overnight. 45.8mm in total, 44.4mm in 24 hours since the start of the event.
