Daily Diary A band of persistent arrived crossed SW to NE overnight, clearing by day break. Sunny spells and fairly frequent heavy showers followed, with CB observed but no thunder. Activity tailed off mid to late afternoon, although by early evening a further shower associated with a redevelopment of a convergence line passed by. Skies then cleared around dusk.
