Cloudy, misty and murky start to the morning, but low cloud gradually lifted and broke to allow some sunny spells to develop my mid-morning. Large amounts of medium and high cloud for a time during the afternoon, before skies generally became clear into the early evening, allowing temperatures to steadily dip overnight. Dry, with light, mainly S'ly winds, and temperatures a little below average for the time of year.
