Daily Diary A humid, rather cloudy day, with some sunny spells in a Tropical Maritime air mass. Some heavy showers developed during the afternoon along a SW peninsular convergence line, aided by the moist, unstable boundary layer and possibly a trough aloft. These cleared mid-afternoon to leave a dry but cloudy night. Light to gentle S to SW'ly wind, temperatures a little above average but feeling especially warm in the sunshine.
