A fine, clear start with plenty of sunshine. Cloud slowly increased during the early morning, before suddenly thickening quickly and producing showery, and quite heavy bursts of rain associated with an occlusion pushing through. Sharp wind veer around 1040Z suggests occlusion on analysis chart a little too far back. Rather cloudy/breezy in the W'ly wind that followed, with only limited glimpses of sunshine. Cool.
