Remarks
Transmitter failed on a number of occasions, and was eventually replaced with the spare at around 1930Z. Lost data mostly reconstructed, with rain gauge data rebuilt using the check gauge and measured rain rates.

Daily Diary

An overcast and wet day, with rain arriving during the morning and turning fairly persistent/heavy for a time before easing mid-afternoon as the associated frontal system moved eastwards. Some glimpses of blue sky late afternoon/early evening otherwise cloudy. Light to moderate SW becoming W'ly wind, temperatures a little below average for early October.
