A fine, clear and cool start, leading into a sunny first half of the morning. Cloud thickened later in the morning, and early afternoon, with a few showers, mainly light and drizzly. Clearing once again mid-late afternoon for a time, but then more extensive cloud developed ahead of an increasingly active frontal system arriving from the W. This arrived as an active, rearward sloping cold front at around 2200Z, with conditions steadily improving overnight following its passage. Temperatures around average for the time of year.
