Daily Diary An overcast and very mild/wet day associated with an exceptionally warm/moist air mass of subtropical origin. Persistent rain during the morning gave way to a more drizzly picture in the warmest sector during the afternoon, before the weak cold front arrived bringing temperatures slowly back down. A further warm front wave arrived overnight, leading to temperatures remaining very mild with little diurnal range. Solidly overcast, with a moderate S'ly wind.
