Overnight rain cleared to leave a blustery day with some sunny spells but frequent showers. Despite the temperatures being a little above average for the time of year, the strength of the WNW'ly wind made it feel much colder. Showers and winds eased overnight, to give a much colder night than previous with temperatures falling close to freezing.
