A few showers pre-dawn, leading into a largely sunny day with small amounts of cloud and a slowly moderating NW'ly wind, as a ridge of High Pressure built in from the W. This allowed a chilly night with clear skies to follow, but temperatures then began to climb overnight once again as cloud and backing winds associated with an Atlantic warm front approached. Temperatures by day around average for the time of year.
