Daily Diary Very windy, overcast and wet start as the frontal system associated with Storm Barra moved across the region. The squally cold front arrived at around 1145Z, marked by a significant wind shift and pressure kick. Cloud steadily lifted and cleared, leading into a clear afternoon and evening with winds moderating. Some showers blew through overnight. Barra brought very strong winds to Ireland and SW Britain (gusts of 80mph+ on coasts) along with sub 960mb pressure. Very strong W becoming SW'ly winds at the Roost, and rather mild for the time of year. RoostCam South Timelapse | RoostCam North Timelapse |
