Clear and chilly overnight, but cloud steadily thickened from the W through the morning associated with an approaching occluding frontal system. This brought some steady rain during the afternoon, before clearing through just after dusk to leave a fairly mild evening/overnight with clear spells. Turning increasingly windy, S'ly veering W'ly post front and strengthening, and mild by day.
