Daily Diary

A cool night at first but slowly warmed up as cloud thickened and milder Atlantic air slowly arrived from the west. Some spots of rain first thing associated with a narrow linear rain-band ahead of the main warm front, which arrived at the Roost at around 1700Z following a period of light, drizzly rain. Overcast, and very mild, with a light WSW'ly wind. Temperatures continued to increase through the following evening and overnight.
