Daily Diary

High Pressure finally was displaced by the arrival of Atlantic fronts, although these were weak across the SW of the UK. Low cloud of recent days was replaced by increasingly thick and invading medium and high cloud layers after dawn, before low cloud eventually returned from the S. Temperatures starting off cold but steadily climbing through the day and continuing overnight within the warm sector. Moderate S'ly wind.
