Clear overnight but by sunrise high and medium cloud layers invading and thickening from the SW associated with a flat wave running east. A few very light showers developed during the afternoon, otherwise the day was dry. Fronts arrived overnight from the north, introducing a much colder air mass, however both the preceding night and daytime were once again mild. Light to moderate SW'ly winds.
