A fairly clear night and sunrise but cloud already beginning to invade from the S/W ahead of complex Atlantic fronts. These lead to an overcast and breezy day, with two main spells of rain from late morning and then again late afternoon, before the final frontal clearance with sharp wind veer at around sunset. A clear night with a few showers followed. Temperatures a little above average despite the rain, with a moderate S'ly becoming a light but strengthening W'ly wind.
