Daily Diary

Overnight clear spells and showers with a fairly fine start, soon giving way to thickening medium and eventually low cloud from the W/NW associated with a warm frontal wave/low running through. This brought a spell of persistent and at times heavy rain, which cleared late afternoon to leave clear spells the following night. Temperatures rose through the night associated with the warm sector of Atlantic air arriving. Moderate, mainly W or S winds but variable as the low tracked across. Temperatures a little above average.
