Mild and breezy overnight, ahead of a sharp cold front which arrived at around 6am with burst of heavy rain, sharp wind veer and pressure kick. This then allowed a day of sunny spells and a few showers, fairly blustery winds at first but these gradually moderated through the afternoon and evening. Clear night followed. After being very mild overnight, temperatures dropped sharply following the cold front, although recovered to mild conditions once again in the sunny spells. Turned cold into the evening, with an overnight frost following.
