Daily Diary A clear and cold night with a frost, although temperatures rose steadily during the morning as milder Atlantic air spread in and with a bit of input from the sun, to become mild once more. Sunny spells during the morning, a bit more cloud around during the afternoon with the odd drizzly shower. WSW'ly winds increased steadily through the day, and continued through the night, holding the temperatures up in to the very mild category. Further north, in the warm conveyor, large amounts of orographic rainfall developed across Wales and NW England, widely 40-70mm, and one station in Wales reported over 130mm, although looked to be a bit of an outlier. Steady rain developed here overnight too. RoostCam South Timelapse | RoostCam North Timelapse |
