A fine, but cold and frosty start. High cloud slowly thickened from the west through the afternoon, associated with an occluding front arriving from the W. Cloud broke up again somewhat into the evening and overnight period though, with clear spells overnight. Temperatures around average by day, dry, with a light S'ly wind.
