Brisk N'ly wind, and cold, despite good sunny spells for much of the day. Showers developed in the area, but no rain was recorded here. Further E, across Kent, heavy snow showers streamed in, dumping several cm on higher ground. A clear night here, and easing winds, led to a chilly night and temperatures near freezing by the end.
