High Pressure remaining firmly in control. Clear overnight, with hazy sunshine by day. Cirrus gradually thickened into a veil of Cs, and As as a warm front approached from the NW later in the day, associated with a breakaway area of low pressure. Dry, and rather warm, with a light, variable, mainly SW'ly wind. Rain arrived in the early hours of the following calendar day.
