Rain overnight associated with a cold front cleared through during the morning, with overcast skies breaking into sunny spells later in the morning and through the afternoon. After a dry, warm day, cloud thickened once again ahead of a developing frontal wave which brought rain from the early hours of the following morning. Initially S'ly winds veered sharply to the W following the passage of the early cold front, before backing around to the S later ahead of the developing wave. Mild overnight, given extensive cloud cover.
