Daily Diary Predominantly overcast with a few spots of rain during the morning, cloud broke up a little bit towards lunchtime giving sunny spells for a time. A weak cold front pushed through during the afternoon, with very sharp surface convergence and wind veer - having broke up convectively it produced a heavy shower with strong rotation at the base of the cloud (see Lapse Library for clip) and a full flow reversal. Cloud gradually thinned through the evening, with some clear spells overnight. Temperatures a little above average, winds light to moderate S'ly becoming light NW'ly.
