Daily Diary A clear night, followed by a largely fine day with a brief ridge of high pressure between weather systems. Low developing to the SW however dragged a frontal wave northwards late in the afternoon, arresting the early evening temperature fall and bringing a period of persistent, and at times heavy rain.
