Daily Diary

Showers continued overnight but generally eased/became much less frequent, with some clear spells developing and a fine start to the day. Cloud quickly thickened from the W associated with an approaching depression, bringing further rain and strong winds, with very strong gusts recorded (>70mph) Irish Sea coasts. Another very mild day in the warm sector, whilst winds held temperatures up post cold front.
