After a cool night with some clear spells and showers easing by early morning, a fairly fine start with some hazy sunshine. Cloud thickened from the SW through the morning, turning wet by the afternoon with persistent moderate rainfall. Lowest pressure recorded here so far this year, by some margin! Rain continued through the evening, easing overnight. Temperatures around average, although a fairly mild night followed.
