Daily Diary A few showers overnight which eased as low pressure cleared to the NW, with a fine often sunny day following as pressure built from the SW. A clear evening led into a clear and cold night, with the first frost since April the following morning. Light to moderate NW'ly wind, temperatures around average, becoming cold overnight. Elsewhere, getting on for 48 hours worth of rain across eastern Scotland, many sites recording 100-150mm, and Charr almost reaching 200mm, brought widespread flooding and lots of flooding/transport impacts.
