Very unsettled and wet start with rain arriving overnight associated with an occluding front, this clearing late morning accompanied by line convection which have some very heavy rain briefly before the strong SSE'ly winds veered sharply and rain eased. Sunny spells during the afternoon leading into a clear evening, although showers in the NW'ly became increasingly heavy and persistent overnight. Early max, temperatures around average.
