Daily Diary

Rain and showers overnight and during the morning eased to leave a fairly dry afternoon with a few spells of sunshine, and eventually clear evening. Windy, with a fresh W'ly breeze, and remaining mild (although not quite as mild as previous day). Easing winds and clear spells associated with ridge of high pressure allowed temperatures to fall away low single figures during the evening, before warm advection and invading cloud caused temperatures to rise once again through the rest of the night.
