Overnight snow showers gave a dusting by dawn, which gradually melted through mid-morning. Band of rain and small hail, with some sleet mixed in at times too, then arrived from the north, removing the rest of the lying snow. This was followed around lunchtime by some heavy, wet snow, which didn't settle, then sunny spells and further showers during the evening, which fell as rain. Cold overnight, and by day, with light to moderate N'ly winds.
